Peanut Butter Popcorn


Prep Time: 10-15 minutes
Cooking Time: 10 minutes

Yield: About 14 cups or 14 large popcorn balls

Ingredients:

1 cup peanut butter

Directions:

1. Place popcorn in a large bowl and set aside.  In a heavy saucepan, combine sugar and honey; bring to a boil over medium heat; stirring constantly. Boil for 5 minutes, stirring constantly.   Remove from the heat.  Add peanut butter, stir until blended.

2. Pour over popcorn mixture; toss gently to coat. Cool completely on waxed paper.  Store in airtight containers or plastic bags.  Yield 14 servings

*Use more popcorn for a treat that's not so sweet. :-) We've also added mixed nuts to the finished recipe, for some added protein, fiber, and flavor!
