Most store-bought versions are made from the same sweeteners used in soda.
Lemonade is filled with combined preservatives and artificial coloring that puts 1 glass at 100 calories per cup. You are essentially drinking liquid candy.
Fancy Frozen Drinks
The mixers in these drinks are the real problem. According to the USDA, a 16-ounce pina colada can add up to a whole 880 calories! Yikes!!
Whipped Coffee Drinks
These drinks are made with 2% milk, and a large icy cup of coffee that can make the drink contain up to 800 calories. When drinking these drinks you are getting more of a sugar shock than a caffeine buzz.
The Best:
Infused Water
Water is great for health and hydration. However, if you are finding plain H2O a bit blah, than you can enhance the flavor of your water by adding fresh cut limes, lemons or even strawberries.
Chilled Green Tea
This drink is calorie free and loaded with antioxidants that bring health and beauty benefits.
